OPEN POSITIONS AT TECHNICALLY CREATIVE

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

The main responsibility of this role is to handle development tasks associated with components utilized by our company. The person for this role will be handling requests, organizing development efforts, and writing applications per client demand as well as keeping the team, development efforts, and code organized.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer working with cloud environments like Microsoft Azure

  • Proficiency with Windows- and Linux-based operating systems, including software installation, administration, and scripting.

  • Pipeline automation and orchestration utilizing the following stack or similar:

  • GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, JMeter, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, Kubernetes

  • 2+ years working on and building CI/CD pipelines and Semantic versioning.

  • 2+ years working on pipeline automation and testing in DevOps

  • 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in one or more modern Object-Oriented Programming languages (Java, Scala, Python)

  • Familiarity with at least one development methodology (Scrum Agile Spiral)

  • 1 year as an Engineer in the big data space (but, overall, approximately 10 years of experience as a developer)

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience applying principles, best practices, and trade-offs of schema design to various types of database systems: relational (Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, MySQL), NoSQL

  • 7-9+ years of hands-on experience in building distributed, back-end enterprise software platforms

  • 5+ years of working in a Linux environment, with an ability to interface with the OS, using system tools, scripting languages, integration frameworks, etc.

  • Experience and ease in executing projects in agile environments (Kanban and Scrum)

  • Experience owning systems end-to-end and hands-on capability in every aspect of software development and support

  • Desire and aptitude for learning new technologies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
